Reaching the most remote places and villages is crucial in the prevention and early detection of malnutrition cases.
However, it is not always easy for NutriAid staff and field operators to reach the most remote villages.
In some cases they arrive at their destination by car, in others they take a ride in a horse or a donkey cart, and in others they go on foot carrying all the materials.
Reaching the most remote areas is necessary to ensure access to medical care and preventive interventions for children in rural areas.
#NutriAid is engaged in #Senegal with the "Hi-Tech to fight malnutrition" project and of the project's objectives is the training of local staff.
The project is funded by the Italian Presidency of the Council of Ministers with the 8x1000 Irpef quota.
