From above, the entire hospital complex of Loul Sessène can be seen as a space dedicated to maternal and child health, designed to provide an integrated and continuous care pathway for mothers and children.
Within the complex, the following facilities can be identified:
- the maternal and child health unit
- the Nutrition Rehabilitation and Education Centre
- the new Pediatric Unit, connected to the Centre by a covered walkway and built thanks to the support of Fondazione Prosolidar
The integration of these facilities enables a comprehensive approach to care: from pregnancy to childbirth, aimed at preventing, diagnosing, and treating malnutrition and related diseases.
One place, multiple services, one shared goal: to ensure access to quality healthcare for local communities.
FONDAZIONE PROSOLIDAR ENTE FILANTROPICO ETS is an organization established within the credit sector to implement socially relevant solidarity projects, both in Italy and abroad, promoting social justice, inclusion, and sustainable development. It brings together, on an equal footing, all labor unions in the sector (through their National Secretariats), as well as, on the employer side, the Italian Banking Association and all affiliated companies. It is the first and, to date, the only international example of an entity created by both parties within a national collective labor agreement and funded through “match-gifting,” meaning the contribution is shared equally between workers and companies.
